CONTRAINDICATIONS

AUGMENTIN is contraindicated in the following conditions:

• pneumonia; acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis; acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis caused by susceptible organisms in the community; acute bacterial sinusitis; acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis caused by susceptible organisms in the community; acute bacterial sinusitis caused by susceptible organisms in the community; acute bacterial exacerbations of tonsillitis; and/or tonsillitis caused by susceptible organisms in the community.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

• AUGMENTIN may cause an allergic reaction, particularly in people allergic to penicillin.
